Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking a Women-Children Float Pool RN for a part-time position. The role emphasizes collaborative nursing, accurate health assessments, adherence to Standards of Care, and careful documentation.

The ideal candidate holds BLS, NRP Part I/II, ACLS, PALS, and ECG course certifications, and will join a Magnet-designated team renowned for exceptional nursing practice and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required as approved by the American Heart Association.
• NRP Part I required as defined by primary specialty unit.
• NRP Part II obtained during clinical orientation.
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• PALS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• ECG course obtained during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.

The Women-Children Float Pool RN Part-time will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required as defined by primary specialty
  unit assigned*
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation as
  defined by primary specialty unit assigned*
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation as defined by primary specialty unit
  assigned*
• PALS certification obtained during clinical orientation as defined by primary specialty unit
  assigned*
• ECG course obtained during clinical orientation as defined by primary specialty unit assigned*

Salary Range:47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
