Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking a skilled WMS Training Project Specialist to design, deliver, and maintain training for the WMS suite across Electric Operations. You will create course materials and lead formal classroom sessions at the company learning center.

Responsibilities include training needs analyses, scheduling sessions, mentoring instructors, and integrating new technologies into instructional design while ensuring safety and operational goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant work experience; or an Associate's Degree with 5 years; or a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of work experience.
• Master's Degree with 2 years of work experience is preferred.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related role.
• Experience working with software applications support in a business environment.
• Familiarity with learning technologies, multimedia development tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
• Experience in training and educating users on software applications, preferably in a formalized setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions to educate business users on the use of the WMS suite of software applications, including formal classroom training at the learning center and onsite ad-hoc sessions.
• Develop, edit, and maintain course materials such as learning objectives, outlines, manuals, presentations, and online resources.
• Coordinate and manage projects related to training initiatives, including milestones for software applications.
• Perform training needs analyses to identify gaps and collaborate on materials, strategies, and methodologies.
• Implement evaluation methods to assess training efficacy and user satisfaction.
• Mentor new and existing instructors and adapt training to modern adult-learning approaches.
• Keep abreast of technologies and incorporate new training tools; liaise with internal/external customers to align training with operations.
