Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a System Analyst to troubleshoot, analyze warehouse management technology, and engage with vendors. The role supports optimization, standardizes remote access, and contributes to supply chain projects.

The position is on-site, five days a week, with responsibilities spanning incident data analysis, system inefficiency resolution, testing, and sign-off on deployments impacting hardware. A BS degree or equivalent is required, with familiarity in ServiceNow and MHE.

• BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• MHE SME (Material Handling Equipment Subject Matter Expert)

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain incident data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify technology/system inefficiencies in Supply Chain operations processes and work on solutions to optimize.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance related to supply chain systems.
• Support testing and validation of system changes and enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements and project objectives.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into supply chain IT Ops performance and KPIs.
• Support projects related to supply chain system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Providing initial triage and root cause analysis for complex warehouse management and automation incidents.
• Serving as the SME for MHE vendor technologies and providing tier 2 support access to warehouse management systems.
• Driving vendor and non-vendor problem ticket resolution through thorough root cause analysis and support.
• Reviewing and approving support documentation from vendors and engineering teams.
• Performing final technical operations sign-off on deployments impacting hardware.
• Configuring advanced local warehouse management and automation integrations as needed.
