Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a System Specialist, WMS Superuser to ensure reliable and efficient system performance for our US operations in New Berlin. You will install, maintain, and support the facilities computer systems, gather data, and generate regular reports to drive operational efficiency.

The role requires experience with Red Prairie, RF/RDTs, UNIX, and proprietary WMS, plus strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a computer-related field or 2-year degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of job-related/relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
• End-to-end understanding of the BI environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary support of the client’s systems solutions for the user community.
• Develops and maintains tracking tools for support service requests and resolutions by location and resource.
• Engages appropriate expert resources when complex support issues arise outside of the WMS-Red Prairie and/or SAP application.
• Works with the company’s team to successfully close support service request issues and support testing activities.
• Works with project teams to help implement, maintain, and improve Internal Systems.
• Ensures that company and company assets are maintained responsibly.
• Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to site management and client management (as appropriate).
• Maintains system efficiency and ensures the site’s computer system allows all components to work together.
• Tests and coordinates modifications to the system when needed, and troubleshoots problems.
• Maintains communication with corporate IT and operations staff.
• Works with corporate IT to resolve complex issues.
• Determines ways to store, organize, analyze, use, and present data.
• Produces regular reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensures RF SOPs are current and trains associates on updated SOPs, Microsoft Office, WMS, and RF guns.
• Responds to inquiries about WMS-Red Prairie and related issues.
