Job summary

Stord is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead two WMS engineering teams responsible for live fulfillment operations. You will own hiring, performance reviews, and career growth, while setting sprint goals and ensuring predictable delivery.

Comfort with ambiguity and setting clear direction when priorities shift.
Production mindset: reliability, monitoring and incident handling as a design consideration.

Responsibilities

Own the complete people management lifecycle for two engineering teams: hiring, 1:1s, performance management, and career development.
Set sprint goals and delivery commitments for both teams, maintaining a predictable cadence.
Drive platform enhancements and translate business priorities into concrete technical work.
Ensure operational excellence and reliability for live fulfillment systems, including incident handling and RCA.
Collaborate with peers across WMS engineering to align priorities and roadmap planning.
