Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands-on WMS functional expert to lead distribution center implementations using Manhattan Active WM. You will design, configure, and validate end-to-end WMS solutions, while coordinating with operations, IT, and ERP teams across client sites.

The role demands deep DC operations knowledge and travel across the United States. You will own test strategies (unit, SIT, UAT), develop training materials, and guide go-live activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in distribution center operations, WMS implementation, or supply chain tech delivery.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on WMS functional expertise with Manhattan Active WM preferred.
• Experience leading WMS fit-gap analysis, solution design sessions, and go-live stabilization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years if no degree).

Responsibilities

• Lead the WMS functional workstream on large DC implementation programs, owning requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live for Manhattan Active WM and similar WMS platforms.
• Conduct current-state assessments of DC operations across inbound, outbound, inventory, and labor management, identifying gaps and opportunities.
• Facilitate design workshops and translate operations requirements into functional specs and configurations.
• Maintain configuration workbooks, specs, and traceability matrices across the implementation lifecycle.
