Job summary

County Materials is seeking a Regional Branch Manager L&M to lead and support branch operations across Wisconsin. This remote role will travel to all retail locations within the state, driving profitable sales growth and strong customer relationships.

You will oversee up to 20 branches, partner with Branch Managers, and implement strategic plans to optimize staffing, inventory, and performance while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Five years of related industry, retail, branch operations, landscape, masonry, construction materials, or similar experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams, staffing branch operations, developing managers, and building relationships across multiple locations.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales performance, develop growth strategies, manage inventory priorities, and influence profitability.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and implement strategic plans aligning sales growth with staffing and operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to provide clear direction and feedback.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities in a remote, travel-based role.
• Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support retail branch operations across the Wisconsin territory to achieve sales growth and profitability goals.
• Partner with Branch Managers to develop and execute branch-level sales growth and business development plans.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to branch leadership on goals and performance.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, training, development, and retention efforts.
• Manage inventory investment, product mix, and branch resources to meet demand.
• Monitor performance, sales activity, staffing, and market trends to identify opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety programs, and standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, vendors and partners.
• Identify market opportunities and translate findings into regional action plans.
• Develop and implement regional strategic plans aligned with division goals.
• Foster a positive, safe, accountable, and team-oriented environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
