Volt Services Group in West Chester, Ohio, is immediately hiring a Wiring Technician to install electrical wiring systems for switchgear, UPS, panelboards, lighting, and related components. This full-time, temp-to-hire role offers weekly pay and a supportive safety-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, know electrical systems, and be proficient with hand and power tools. The job includes PPE, benefits eligibility, and a competitive pay rate of $22.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret electrical drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Proficient with test meters and diagnostic equipment.
• Must read and speak English.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Capable of pulling wires through conduits and trays.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring systems for switchgear, UPS, panelboards, lighting, switches, outlets and transformers.
• Install conduits, electrical wires, and cables.
• Ensure conduit installation complies with electrical codes.
• Install ladder cable trays and basket cable trays.
• Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring.
• Install power feeders to equipment and branch circuits.
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper installation up to code.
• Install low voltage/control wiring.
• Terminate power feeders and control wiring.

As a WiringTechnicianyou will:

• Installelectrical wiring systems for, switchgears, UPS, panelboards, lighting, switches, outlets and transformers
• Installconduits, electrical wires, and cables
• Ensureconduit install complies with electrical codes
• InstallLadder cable trays, and Basket cable trays
• InstallCircuit breaker and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them
• Installpower feeders to equipment’s
• Installbranch circuits
• Inspectelectrical systems to ensure proper installation is up to code
• Installlow voltage/control wiring
• Terminatepower feeders (compression lugs), branch circuits, and control wiring
• Performother related duties as assigned
  

This is a Full Time – Temp to Hireopportunity.

The ideal Wiring Technician will have:

• Abilityto read blueprints

Pay Rate:$22.50 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
