Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Wiring Technician for an onsite role in Culver City, CA. The position supports low-voltage wiring, harness assembly, testing, and documentation. Pays $28/hr to start, with a 6-month assignment and potential extension, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm PST.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED and 1+ year wiring experience; familiarity with Google Workspace, Jira, and basic test procedures is preferred. Onsite location at Culver City facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of wiring and harness assembly experience.
• Basic knowledge of using crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters and soldering tools.
• Google Workspace proficiency preferred.
• J-STD-001 Certification or similar preferred.
• Experience with Linux or Mac terminal environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and harness assembly, including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, routing, and installing wires.
• Build and install test wiring harnesses to support QA and testing activities.
• Perform basic electrical testing, including continuity and low-voltage tests.
• Read and follow wire harness assembly instructions, document wire movements, inventory, and test results in Google Sheets.
• Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation.

Job description

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Wiring Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Culver City, CA 90230. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay: $28/hr to Start!!
• 6 -month assignment, possibility for extension based on performance and budget.
• Monday-Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm PST. (Onsite)
• Position will be mainly responsible for low-voltage wiring and harness assembly, including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, routing, and installing wires (e.g., Cat 6 and 22-gauge), as well as building and installing test wiring harnesses to support internal quality assurance and testing activities.
• Position will also be responsible for performing basic electrical testing, including continuity and low-voltage tests, and running test procedures as needed to verify wiring and harness functionality.
• Position will also be responsible for reading and following wire harness assembly instructions, documenting wire movements, inventory, and test results in Google Sheets, and using Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is Required!
• 1+ years of experience wiring and harness assembly is Required!
• Basic knowledge of using Tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through-hole) is Required!
• Strong background of Google Workspace is Preferred!
• J-STD-001 Certification or similar is Preferred!
• Previous experience with Linux or Mac terminal environments is Preferred!
