Job summary

ALOIS Solutions in Culver City, CA is seeking a hands-on Wiring Harness Technician to join our Quality Assurance engineering team. The role focuses on building, testing, and troubleshooting wiring systems and harnesses for internal QA projects.

You will cut, route, and terminate Cat6 and low-voltage wiring, read wiring diagrams, document movements in Google Sheets, and collaborate with Engineering and QA. This is a 100% onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Build and install wiring test harnesses for internal QA testing

Are you a hands-on Wiring / Low-Voltage Technician who enjoys building, testing, and troubleshooting wiring systems?

We’re looking for a Wiring Harness Technician to join a Quality Assurance engineering team supporting internal test harness setup and low-voltage wiring projects.

Low-Voltage Wiring & Harness Assembly

Experience cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires, including Cat 6 and 22-gauge wiring.

Comfortable using wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, and soldering equipment for SMT and through-hole work.

Technical Documentation

Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and wire harness assembly instructions.

• Build and install wiring test harnesses for internal QA testing
• Cut, run, route, and connect Cat 6 and other low-voltage wiring
• Perform basic continuity and low-voltage testing
• Set up wiring connections to various devices
• Document wire movements and inventory using Google Sheets
• Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation
• Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams
• Assist with running tests when required
• Follow wiring harness assembly instructions and technical documentation
• Experience with access control systems or security cameras
• Linux or Mac Terminal experience
• Network or security installation background

• 1-3 years of hands-on wiring, cabling, or harness assembly experience
• Experience running and setting up low-voltage wiring
• Strong hands-on skills with crimping, soldering, stripping, and termination
• Ability to understand basic schematics and wiring diagrams
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Must be comfortable with a 100% onsite position
