Job summary

ACBB is seeking an Operations Team Lead - Wires to oversee domestic and international wire processing, ensuring accurate and timely settlements within a fast-paced payments environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and adherence to compliance standards, with a strong focus on OFAC screening and risk management. A 5+ year background in banking operations and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of banking operations experience with significant exposure to wire processing and/or payments operations.
• Working knowledge of domestic and international wire transfers, settlement processes, Fedwire®, and SWIFT messaging.
• Experience supporting operational controls, procedures, audits, and issue resolution in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of OFAC screening and payment-related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily processing of domestic and international wire transfers and ensure timely settlement.
• Provide team leadership, task assignments, scheduling, and department coverage.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies; support audits and risk management.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery; participate in system testing and improvements.
• Serve as a resource for client banks and internal partners regarding wire operations and inquiries.
