Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Wireline Field Operator to perform comprehensive wireline duties at well sites and shops. You will maintain equipment, conduct pre/post-job checks, and ensure regulatory compliance while prioritizing safety and customer relations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical skills, and a CDL with Hazmat or the ability to obtain one within six months. Expect regional travel and on-call shifts as part of this field position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on tool experience.
• 21+ years old for ATF explosives certification.
• Class A or B CDL with Hazmat or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Ability to work with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs and perform tool maintenance, pre/post-job checks.
• Rig up/down equipment at the well site.
• Service mechanical devices and build logging cable heads.
• Perforate cable heads and maintain tools.
• Maintain well site/DOT records and communications.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations.
• Receive and execute routine work and site instructions.
• Perform duties at well site and shop as needed.
• Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement for operations.
• Supervise and train other Field Operators while maintaining safety.
• Perform other related duties as required.
