Job summary

Baker Hughes is hiring a Wireline Field Operator in the United States. You will be responsible for on-site wellsite and shop duties, tool maintenance, rigging, and customer relations across field locations.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma, and CDL with Hazmat or equivalent progression within 6 months. This position involves on-call responsibilities, travel to client sites, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Heavy mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools, engines or mechanical systems.
• Must be 21+ to obtain ATF explosives certification.
• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Ability to work with customers and team members.
• On-call 24/7 and travel to remote/well-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs and perform tool maintenance, pre/post job checkout.
• Rig up/down equipment at the well site.
• Service mechanical devices and build logging cable heads.
• Perform perforations and maintain tools.
• Maintain well-site/DOT records and communicate with District Manager.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations.
• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with regulations.
• Train junior operators and participate in safety initiatives.
