The Intern - Wireless Systems Engineer reports to the R&D Director on the Communications Systems team. The successful individual in this role will learn from and work with experts in wireless communications, DSP, and networking, helping to design, simulate, analyze, and implement solutions that address real-world challenges in dynamic and demanding RF environments. This internship is full-time, on-site Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies' HQ in the heart of vibrant West LA.
Office environment. Outdoor environment for demos. Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing tests or demonstrations in the field. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following: Lift equipment up to 20 lbs. for the set-up of demonstrations and testing. Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves. Kneeling or squatting to access lower shelves. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments. Walking/Moving in the labs.
CA Pay Range: $28.60 - $33.80 / hourly [in-progress Bachelor's degree]
CA Pay Range: $42.00 / hourly [in-progress Master's degree]
