Job summary

Powercast Corporation seeks a Software Engineer to support multiple application and product lines in a Pittsburgh-based setting. You will design software for diverse products and work with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, RFID and NFC/WIFI to meet product goals.

You will collaborate with QA, Electrical, Mechanical and Management teams while contributing to internal tools and automation. A CS/CE degree plus 2+ years of coding experience is desired.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of programming experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or CE preferred.
• Background knowledge of wireless protocols, especially Bluetooth and RFID.
• Ability to evaluate product requirements and tradeoffs.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team designing software for various products.
• Develop products using wireless technologies like Bluetooth, RFID, WIFI.
• Provide necessary support for product releases.
