Job summary

Powercast Corporation seeks a Software Engineer to support multiple application and product lines in a Pittsburgh-based setting. You will design software for diverse products and work with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, RFID and NFC/WIFI to meet product goals.

You will collaborate with QA, Electrical, Mechanical and Management teams while contributing to internal tools and automation. A CS/CE degree plus 2+ years of coding experience is desired.

Qualifications

2+ years of programming experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or CE preferred.
Background knowledge of wireless protocols, especially Bluetooth and RFID.
Ability to evaluate product requirements and tradeoffs.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Work with the engineering team designing software for various products.

Overview

Work with the engineering team designing software for various products
Develop products using wireless technologies like Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, WIFI, etc...
Provide necessary support for product releases
