Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an ASIC Design Verification Engineer to define and verify digital SOCs for satellite communications, collaborating with RTL, FPGA, and system teams to ensure functional correctness. You will implement verification environments, write tests in C/C++, and run regressions across debugging platforms.

Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE and 2+ years in verification are required; 1+ year with UVM/C/C++ is expected, with Matlab familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE required.
• 2+ years in verification, preferably in communications.
• 1+ years in UVM, C/C++ and scripting; familiarity with SystemC/DPI-C is a plus.
• Master/PhD preferred; strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement verification environment for RTL vs reference models.
• Develop test plans and write tests; run regressions and report progress.
• Write tests in C/C++ to run on embedded CPU.
• Create tests for FPGA and emulation platforms.
• Run formal verification for complex blocks to ensure correctness.
• Collaborate with design/system teams and use UVM/SystemC/DPI-C test benches.
