Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a Deployment & Safety Manager to lead the Wireless Services safety program and support safe project execution across field operations in New Jersey. You will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, develop safety policies, and empower teams to halt work when conditions are unsafe.

The role requires significant field leadership, incident investigation experience, and travel to project sites, with a focus on building a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of safety leadership experience in wireless telecommunications, utility construction, or related infrastructure industries.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Experience supporting wireless construction and field operations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety program for Wireless Services and partner with Operations to ensure project safety.
• Conduct field safety audits and jobsite inspections; coach on safe work practices.
• Maintain safety certifications and training records (OSHA, tower climbing, rescue, CPR/First Aid, etc.).
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Represent the company in customer safety meetings, audits, and field visits.
