A leading industrial communications firm is seeking a Wireless / Microwave Specialist in Midland, TX. This full-time position involves leading installations and troubleshooting of wireless systems for oil and gas clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in microwave communications and strong project management skills. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with wireless and microwave communications systems.
• Strong hands-on skills installing, configuring, and troubleshooting microwave links.
• Ability to manage small project teams.
• Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Excellent documentation and attention to detail; able to complete accurate field reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and troubleshooting of wireless systems.
• Supervise field technicians and coordinate jobs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform minimal tower work (mostly from man baskets and elevated platforms up to 300 ft)
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure project alignment and safety compliance
• Produce accurate, timely field documentation and system reports
• Maintain and operate company-provided tools, vehicles, and safety gear
• Start work daily at 7:00 AM with variable end times; 40 hours/week guaranteed with overtime available
• Remain local to Midland area – home every night with minimal travel required
• Participate in a culture of safety, continuous learning, and craftsmanship excellence
