Job description

The wireless network engineer will work with a multidiscipline team that consists of engineers from within our organization and will wirelessly interface our control systems platform and field devices. The wireless networks will interconnect field transmitters, life safety detectors, equipment health monitors, physical security sensors, and operator mobility terminals. The wireless network engineer with work with customers and end users, project operations, product R&D, marketing, sales, estimating, and third party installers. The wireless network engineer ensure that the selected application methods, techniques and tools are fit for purpose and work with project management to ensure that the overall project objectives are met.

Position Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the overall delivery of the technical solution to ensure that project requirements are met and that standard builds are utilized and maintained or developed for purpose.
• Development of test criteria and procedures for system integration, third party testing, and factory acceptance testing activities.
• Be actively involved in each project kick-off to ensure the overall requirements are fully understood and then directly support each project team during design and implementation.
• Implement projects in a timely manner.
• Develop wireless scope of work, bill of materials, and installation estimates for the targeted portion of proposal opportunities.
• Works with local subcontractors to verify field design and provide technical supervision during installation.
• Deliver projects within assigned budget.
• Ensure that proper project engineering methods and techniques utilized.
• Ability to travel up to 50% international required.

• Additional Requirements: Experion PKS, Honeywell TPS, or TDC3000 experience a plus
