Job summary

Mobile Generation is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading Verizon Wireless sales teams and delivering excellent customer experiences at our Illinois locations.

You will help hire, schedule, and coach a team, drive KPIs, and ensure compliance with Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation standards while maintaining a strong, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other Wireless business.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales roles is required
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire your team members.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to our various locations across the Midwest and business needs dictate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Working side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
• Assist Store Manager as directed to hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed both your personal and team key performance indicators each month
• Coach/mentor your team every day so they can provide an exceptional customer experience each time.
• Ensure your assigned location is operating under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
• Assist the Store Manager in any promotional role, inventory procedure, or other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.
