Compensation: Up to $70,000.00 per year including salary, commissions, and performance bonuses

Type: Full Time

Mobile Generation, the fastest-growing Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer in the Midwest, is currently looking for a Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The Assistant Store Manager will work directly with the Store Manager to ensure the sales team is well-versed in our selling process, Verizon Wireless products and services, and that our retail location meets operational standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Work side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
• Assist Store Manager to hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed personal and team key performance indicators each month.
• Coach/mentor your team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure the location operates under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
• Assist the Store Manager in promotional roles, inventory procedures, or other assigned duties.
• Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales roles is required.
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to various locations across the Midwest as business needs dictate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
