Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a Wire Services Payment Specialist to oversee timely and accurate processing of all wire activity, including OFAC checks, wire returns, drawdowns, research, and related documentation, with a strong focus on fraud prevention and risk mitigation.

You will process incoming and outgoing wires through Treasury Online, WITS, Wells Fargo, or Fedline, verify details, perform callback confirmations, update customer accounts, and ensure proper documentation for funds transfer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of Retail banking or operational support experience in the banking industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supports and performs duties assigned by the Wire Transfer Operations Team Lead and/or Manager.
• Processes and verifies incoming and outgoing wire transfers via Treasury Online, telephone line, or branches via WITS, Wells Fargo, or Fedline Advantage.
• Review and input outgoing wire transfers including returns and drawdowns requested on behalf of Seacoast customers.
• Performs Seacoast Customer account maintenance with transaction review/monitoring and documentation review in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform callback verification to confirm transaction details and authenticity of transactions.
• Performs security-related verifications and callback confirmations to validate the authenticity of outgoing wire transfers.
• Provides support for electronic wire products including password resets, enrollments, and staff/customer assistance.
• Works with clients and internal service partners to ensure proper documentation for accurate transfer of funds.
• Reconciles the transaction fraud monitoring queue and OFAC inquiries, performing due diligence to mitigate fraud.
• Investigates suspicious or fraudulent claims per Bank policy and procedures.
• Responsible for risk and fraud mitigation in relation to electronic services, analyzing and acting on suspicious activity.
• Performs customer service functions, including interacting with customers and answering questions.
• Adheres to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.
