Job summary

Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist to assist the wire department with daily operations, including entry and posting of incoming and outgoing wires both Domestic and Foreign. The role may involve collaboration with other departments and occasional work when the bank is closed but the Federal Reserve is open.

Full-time position requiring attention to detail, customer service excellence, and compliance with wire policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient on computer (Bank applications, Internet, MS Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Input, verify and release incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
• Maintain wire transfer log for foreign wires.
• Perform customer wire confirmation call backs.
• Maintain customer contact information for wire confirmation notices and distribute confirmation notices as necessary.
• Validate proper wire authority for outgoing wires.
• Process accurate OFAC checks for wire transfers.
• Knowledgeable about foreign wires issued in Foreign Currency.
• Process any exceptions and service messages for wire transfers in a timely manner.
• Work with other departments and employees to assist in the efficient processing of wire transfers.
• Ensure that wires are processed in accordance with the wire policy and procedures.
• Stay up to date with wire regulatory requirements.
• Assist with special projects as necessary.
