Job summary

Webster First Federal Credit Union is seeking a Wire Transfer Representative to support the wire transfer function within Accounting. You will process transfers, balance systems, and maintain related records, while ensuring compliance and high service standards.

The role requires attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and ability to handle confidential information in a team environment. Prior banking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with wire transfers or payment processing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Ability to handle confidential member information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers accurately and timely.
• Administer and support the wire transfer system.
• Verify member information and funding availability before initiating transfers.
• Maintain records and reports related to wire transfers in compliance with policies.
• Perform daily wire system balancing and closeout procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from internal departments, branches, and external banks.
