Job summary

Webster First Federal Credit Union in Massachusetts is seeking a Wire Transfer Representative to support the wire transfer function within the Accounting department. You will ensure incoming and outgoing wires are processed promptly, accurately, and in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements, maintaining records and assisting with daily system balancing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably with wire transfers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Associate or bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers accurately and promptly.
• Administer and support the wire transfer system to ensure timely processing.
• Verify member information and funding availability before wire transfers.
• Maintain records and reports related to wire transfers per policies.
• Balance daily wire system and closeout procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from branches and other institutions.
• Promote BSA/OFAC compliance and security of information.
• Perform other duties to support department efficiency.
