  • Ability to work successfully in a high stress environment

Responsibilities

  • Provides prompt, professional operational support to Retail branches and internal departments.
  • Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers.
  • Verify signatures on all wires per Bank policy.
  • Process wires as an initiator/approver per policy.
  • Balance Fed and Correspondent Bank accounts for funding.
  • Process end of day/beginning of day processes.
  • Maintain policies and procedures for wire transfer operations.
  • Stay updated on internal risk controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with daily reports and settlements as delegated.
  • Participate in job training and other Bank programs.
  • Process returned mail as needed.

Job description

Under the directions of the Deposit Operations Manager, this position is responsible for various daily tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the bank as well as handle functions that have a regulatory, monetary, and potential reputational risk impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Provides prompt, professional, and courteous operational support to Retail branches and internal departments by answering questions, researching information, and providing solutions associated with all wire transfer products and services.
  • Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers.
  • Responsible for verifying signatures on all wires comply with Bank policy.
  • Responsible for processing wires as an initiator/approver, ensuring Bank policy is followed.
  • Responsible for balancing Fed and Correspondent Bank accounts to ensure adequate funding.
  • Responsible for processing end of day/beginning of day processes.
  • Responsible for processing daily reports and settlements as delegated.
  • Maintenance of policies and procedures for all processes noted above.
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy.
  • Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
  • Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary.
  • Responsible for processing returned mail as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
