Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in El Paso, TX is seeking an Assembler IV - Wire/Pre-Wire for the 2nd shift. The role involves wiring, assembling, fitting subassemblies, and mounting components in electrical control equipment, with testing and final inspection.

The position offers an hourly rate of $21.66 for the second shift, plus eligibility for a variable incentive plan and a competitive benefits package. Shift: 4:00pm-12:45am; lift 35 lbs; 5-S and safety expectations apply.

Qualifications

• One of the following must be met: 1 year of electrical wiring experience, or a completed technical degree in a related field, or Connectors I & II certifications with 1 year of experience as an Assembler III.
• No immigration sponsorship or work authorization assistance will be provided.
• Relocation benefits are not offered; candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of subassemblies and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
• Use wire strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, impact guns, drills and pliers to assemble switchboards' wiring.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and 5-S practices; keep area clean and orderly.
• Lift up to 35 lbs with or without accommodation and communicate issues in the workflow.
• Perform additional tasks and flex into other functions as needed.
