Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler I for the El Paso, TX facility. You will assemble, wire, fit, and mount components for electrical control equipment, conduct test preparation and final inspection, and verify integrity with standard procedures.

The role requires safety-mindedness, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards. The position offers a 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:45pm with an hourly rate of $16.76 and eligibility for a variable incentive plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous manufacturing experience or related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information.
• Handle materials under established procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on all plant equipment in the area of assignment as required.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
• Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.
• Handle all finished products for shipment; call carriers and load materials into carrier's vehicles.
• Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.
• Lift 35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation as required.
