Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing is hiring an experienced Toolmaker with wire EDM (WEDM) expertise in Mason, OH. The role requires setting up, programming, and operating Makino or Mitsubishi EDM machines, and reading GD&T from engineering drawings to translate into precise toolpaths.

The candidate will create fixtures, inspect parts with CMMs and gauges, and maintain strict tolerances under AS9100 quality standards. Monday–Friday shift with up to $35/hour compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' wire EDM experience with high-precision tooling.
• CAD/CAM programming experience with Esprit WEDM CAM; SolidWorks/Siemens NX a plus.
• Ability to read GD&T and drawings, translate to CNC toolpaths.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program wire EDM machinery (Makino/Mitsubishi).
• Interpret GD&T and drawings to CNC toolpaths.
• Create/modify fixtures, tooling, electrodes for EDM processes.
