Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Wire Cutter in Addison, IL. The role involves coiling, spooling, cutting, and labeling wire for customer orders using specialized machinery. On-the-job training is provided; a valid fitness for repetitive tasks and the ability to stand for long periods are needed.

Salary ranges from $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, with a $3.00 differential. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am start.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Proficient with RF devices and warehouse tech; basic math via calculator.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stand/walk during shift.

Responsibilities

• Review orders to determine reel size and wire type, size, color.
• Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload reels and load new ones onto machine.
• Restock wire inventory and follow safety procedures.
