Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Wire Cutter to join our warehouse team. You will cut, spool, and label wire for customer orders using specialized machinery in a collaborative setting. On-the-job training is provided and the role offers competitive pay and full benefits.

Successful candidates will lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and use RF devices and warehouse systems. Prior wire-cutting experience is a plus, but training is available.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs with assistance).
• Proficient with RF devices and warehouse technology.
• Solid math skills with units and conversions.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders to determine reel size and wire type.
• Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload reels and load new ones onto the wire machine.
• Restock and replenish wire inventory as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and SOPs.
