Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Wire Cutter in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time role starts early with a 4am shift, offering hourly pay between $24.00 and $29.00 with potential increases based on experience.

On-the-job training is provided, and you’ll work in a collaborative warehouse environment. Responsibilities include coiling, spooling, cutting, and labeling wire for customer orders, while adhering to safety regulations and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate RF devices and warehouse tech.
• Strong math skills including fractions and units.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Responsibilities

• Review orders to determine reel size and wire type.
• Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload and load reels onto wire machines.
• Restock wire inventory and follow safety procedures
• Maintain accuracy in labeling and packaging for orders
