Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Wire Cutter for the 2nd shift (noon–8pm), full-time. You will coil, spool, cut, and label wire for customer orders using specialized machinery in a collaborative warehouse.

On-the-job training is provided; attention to detail and the ability to stand for long periods are essential. The role offers hourly pay between $26.00 and $31.00, plus a short-term incentive bonus and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Proficient in using RF devices, computer systems, and warehouse technology.
• Math skills for unit conversion with a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders to determine reel size and wire type needed.
• Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload/load reels and restock wire inventory.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety regulations.
