Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions Segment in Easley, SC is seeking a WIP Operator for the 1st shift. You will inspect assemblies using blueprints, GOS, and test specs to ensure high-quality products reach customers.

Occasional final assembly and kitting tasks required; SAP is used for sub-assemblies and document creation. You will collect non-conforming materials and update the scrap database and SAP with accurate information, supporting manufacturing throughput and quality assurance in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic math skills and ability to read/write English clearly.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes; TPM/SMED preferred.
Knowledge of quality tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 8D, Fishbone).

Responsibilities

Obtain assembly instructions from Graphical Operation Sheets, Blueprints, and orders.
Confirm sub-assemblies via Hard Turn, Hone, and Robo-Drill; verify cartridge production in SAP.
Create SAP work orders; enter scrap and movement data for production.
Interpret engineering blueprints, routings, and work instructions.
Inspect defective assemblies and report findings to Engineering and Supervisor.
