Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector for the Receiving Inspection team on the 1st shift at our Wendell, NC facility. The role involves performing incoming material inspections on Production Solutions products, coordinating with logistics to verify supplier quality.

You will work with SAP, Salesforce.com and Excel, ensuring calibration of inspection tools and adherence to safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience inspecting electrical and mechanical components.
• 1+ years’ experience reading mechanical blueprints.
• 1+ years’ experience inspecting welded components per blueprints.
• 1+ years’ experience using tape measures, calipers, height gauges.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Proven record in quality and productivity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inspection tools are calibrated with peers, factory personnel and suppliers.
• Resolve non-conformances with material used in finished goods in collaboration with purchasing and engineering.
• Drive continuous improvement activities within the team and other departments.
• Work with SAP, Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel.
• Adhere to safety rules and put safety first for self and others.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
