Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector for the 1st shift at the Wendell, NC facility. The role focuses on in-process inspection on assembly lines, ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining reports, and collaborating with production and engineering teams while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of prior work experience with production & inspection.
• 1+ years of experience working with Torque wrenches and torque verifications.
• Strong Analytical skills to perform point to point or sequence of operation checks.
• Experience working with various types of inspection tools and have knowledge product drawings.
• Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists, to include circuit troubleshooting, and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection mechanical duties.
• Inspect each product to company Quality Standards and given guidelines.
• Reviewing specifications and drawings to ensure that products have been built correctly on assembly line.
• Troubleshoot equipment failure and implement corrective action.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports.
• Work with production and engineering teams during the inspection process and report any findings.
• Adhere to developed processes, methods and/or seek ways to improve.
• Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.
• Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
