Job summary

Kishwaukee College seeks a WIOA Adult Program Coordinator to oversee implementation and administration of the grant. You will recruit participants, ensure program quality, and coordinate with colleges, schools, and community partners to deliver eligible training options.

You will manage a staff member, monitor budgets, ensure compliance with FERPA and grant policies, and report outcomes to funding agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, education, social work or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in workforce programs and serving diverse populations.
• At least 1 year of program management including supervision and budgeting.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee WIOA Adult Program goals and caseload management.
• Maintain relationships with grant agencies and stakeholders.
• Collaborate to develop and submit grant proposals.
• Fiscally manage the program budget and submit monthly reports.
• Supervise staff funded under the WIOA program.
• Recruit participants through schools and community organizations.
• Provide career and educational advisement on WIOA options.
• Plan participant success initiatives to improve retention and completion.
• Network with service providers to address participant needs.
• Attend local, state, and federal events to improve outcomes.
