Job summary

College of Western Idaho is seeking a Director of Sponsored Programs to lead the development, management, and growth of grants and sponsored programs across the college. You will work with faculty, staff, leadership, and funders to secure resources and advance institutional priorities.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong grant-writing and compliance expertise, and the ability to guide a team through proposal development and post-award administration.

Qualifications

• Experience with grant development and administration across multiple funding sources.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and private grant compliance and reporting.
• Proven ability to secure grant funding and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the college's comprehensive grants and sponsored programs strategy and portfolio.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, leadership, and funders to identify opportunities.
• Oversee development, writing, review, and submission of proposals and applications.
• Advise college leadership on grant opportunities and best practices.
• Monitor budgets, compliance, and post-award reporting with cross-functional teams.
• Supervise and develop Grants and Sponsored Programs staff to high performance.
