Job summary

State of Indiana's Grant Compliance Monitor role supports the Compliance Team within the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. The position conducts compliance reviews, analyzes performance against state and federal requirements, and prepares reports on findings and corrective actions.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in compliance monitoring, program management, or similar role.
Specialized knowledge of WIOA and other federal/state workforce programs and regulations.
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly.
Knowledge of accounting and budget principles.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage workflow.
Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Conduct compliance reviews of Local Workforce Development Areas under WIOA and other programs.
Analyze grantee performance against federal/state/local requirements.
Conduct interviews, prepare compliance reports, and verify corrective action implementation.
Collaborate across the Workforce Division to support quality improvement.
May assume supervisory responsibilities based on agency needs.
