Job summary

The Trustees is seeking a Winterlights Production Crew member for visitor services at the Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate in Canton, MA. This seasonal, non-exempt, on-site role runs November through January with evenings and weekend shifts and duties in gift shop, concessions, and entry management.

You’ll greet guests, ring up items, help with light setup, and keep the area tidy while delivering a festive guest experience for over 20,000 visitors. Training provided for POS and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• A warm, welcoming attitude and love for working with people.
• Customer service or food/beverage experience.
• Point of sale skills (Toast or training provided).
• Comfort standing for long shifts and working outdoors in chilly temps.
• Willingness to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with setup/cleanup.
• Flexible, team-oriented Winterlights crew attitude.
• Availability evenings and weekends during Run of Show.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Winterlights, greet guests, check tickets, and manage entry smoothly.
• Prepare and ring up cocoa, treats, and glowing goods in the gift shop and concessions, restocking as needed.
• Support event setup: hang lights, prep supplies, and keep the property tidy and safe.
• Maintain guest experience from start to finish, assist with wayfinding and cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and communicate with the team to stay on track.
• Participate in post-event takedown and storage (opportunities through mid-January).

The Role:

Hours during Run of Show, November 27-January2; are Wednesday-Sunday,3PM – 9PM (closed December 24-25, openDecember21-22 and28-29, January 1)

• Be the face ofWinterlights! Greet guests, check tickets, and keep the entry process smooth and welcoming.

• Prepare and ring up cocoa, treats, and glowing goodies in the gift shop and concessions area — and help restock when we sell out!

• Support the eventsetup:helphanglights, prep supplies, and keep the property tidy and safe before guests arrive.

• Keep everything running smoothly: pitch in with wayfinding, cleanliness, and ensuring a great guest experience from start to finish.

• Troubleshoot minor issues and communicate with the team to keep things on track.

• Take part in post-event takedown and storage (opportunities available through mid-January).
