Job summary

Carvana in Hoffman Estates, IL is hiring a full-time Winter Associate for our Safe & Secure team. This seasonal, winter-focused role keeps the site open and safe, from gate duties to snow and ice removal.

You’ll work outdoors in varying weather, interacting with associates, vendors, and visitors, while enforcing safety protocols and using security tech. You must have 1–2 years in customer service, English fluency, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in cold conditions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform in cold, snow, and ice conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate intrusion alerts.
• Run point at the gate using the SAS App and RFID tech, enforcing ingress/egress procedures.
• Manage and document vehicle movement through the Inspection Center gates.
• Execute snow and ice removal and support winter safety operations.
