Job summary

Telluride Ski & Golf is seeking on-snow support staff to assist at alpine race events. You will help maintain courses, safety nets, gates, and equipment, and work closely with race officials during practices and competitions.

Ideal candidates have strong skiing skills, familiarity with timing systems, and the ability to communicate via radios, with flexibility for after-school, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skier background.
• Understanding of electronic timing systems.
• Ability to work effectively around children.
• Communicate clearly using 2 way radios.
• SSA Membership not required but a plus.
• Experience and certification as an Alpine Official preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove fencing and safety netting as needed.

• Must be able to adapt to climate and work in extreme weather conditions.

Shift Requirements

• Frequent evening shifts for after school practices and races.
• Frequent weekend and holiday shifts.
• Availability for weekday afternoons/evening and weekends is a plus.

Age Requirements

• Applicants must be at least age 18.
