Job summary

Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, MA is seeking staff to provide on-snow support for alpine race events. The role involves installing fencing, maintaining the racecourse, and coordinating access with radios.

You will work alongside the race director, assist with gate setup and course maintenance, and ensure athlete safety in challenging weather.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skier background.
• Understanding of electronic timing systems.
• Ability to work effectively and appropriately with and around children.
• Communicate clearly using 2 way radios.
• SSA Membership not required but a plus.
• Experience and certification as an Alpine Official preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Shift Requirements:

• Frequent evening shifts for after school practices and races.
• Frequent weekend and holiday shifts.
• Availability for weekday afternoons/evening and weekends is a plus.

Age Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least age 18.
