Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of full-time, or equivalent part-time, manual labor experience in construction or maintenance.
• Experience in outdoor manual labor is a plus.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow and ice removal from roadways, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and entryways.
• Clean and maintain public areas of assigned location such as restrooms, campgrounds, parking lots, trails, beaches, etc.
• Performs various manual labor tasks which may require some specialized skill.
• Installs, repairs and maintains signs using hand tools or power tools.
• Plants, transplants, prunes, trims and fertilizes trees, flowers and shrubs; seeds lawns and gardens; sprays for insects and plant diseases.
• Loads and unloads trucks, stores supplies, and takes periodic inventories.
• Operates handheld power tools and installs attachments to equipment for mowing, plowing, or cleaning.
• Operates light vehicles, trucks, and UTVs in connection with unit activities.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather.
