Job summary

Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Collection, in Telluride, seeks an In-Room Dining Server to deliver memorable in-room dining experiences for guests and colleagues. You will take and input orders into the POS system, deliver items promptly, provide beverage guidance, and coordinate with the kitchen to accommodate special requests.

This full-time, year-round role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays, prior customer service or hospitality experience, and the ability to lift 30

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service or the foodservice/hospitality industry.
• Must meet the minimum age requirements for food and alcohol service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
• Ability to lift 30lbs

Responsibilities

• Take and place orders accurately and input into the POS system with correct timing and billing.
• Deliver items efficiently and promptly to guests.
• Relate with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and service.
• Communicate special requests or modifications to the kitchen and maintain knowledge of all menu items.
• Prepare guest checks and collect payment or signature as required.
• Operate, maintain, and clean all restaurant equipment and fittings.
• Ensure tidy food delivery and proper par levels for items on cart/storage.
• Follow food safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Clean and maintain in-room private/mini-bars and report any issues.
