Job summary

Auberge Collection's Madeline Hotel & Residences in Telluride is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to deliver outstanding in-room dining experiences. You will accurately take and place orders, input them into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining knowledge of the menu and providing attentive guest service.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
• Ability to lift 30lbs

Responsibilities

• Accurately and quickly take and place orders and input them into the POS system ensuring correct timing and billing.
• Deliver requested items in an efficient and timely manner.
• Relate with guests about needs, and satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service
• Retrieve orders from the POS system and communicate any special requests or modifications to the kitchen. Maintain knowledge of all menu items.
• Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature, as required
• Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings
• Ensure that the food delivery is tidy and keep an accurate par of food items such as beverages and snacks, as well as non-food items like menu cards, napkins, straws, etc. on cart and in storage areas.
• Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper skills and food safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain in-room private/mini-bars; report damage, or malfunctioning units
• Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures.

The targeted compensation rate for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $12.14/hr + tips. The position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Collection.

Job Description
