Job summary

Killington Pico Ski Resort Partners LLC is seeking a Café Barista / Retail Associate at the Grand Café inside the Killington Grand Hotel in Killington, VT. You will craft high-quality beverages, assist with retail sales, and create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

This seasonal, part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys interacting with guests, and takes pride in delivering excellent service and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly, and personalized service to every guest.
• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso drinks, and café items with consistency and care.
• Build relationships with repeat guests by learning names and preferences.
• Accurately take and fulfill orders.
• Operate the register and handle transactions with accuracy.
• Educate guests on coffee, tea, retail products and menu offerings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work and retail areas.
• Monitor food quality and uphold safety and temperature standards.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and product ordering.
• Support alcohol sales in a safe and responsible manner (as applicable).
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and feedback with professionalism.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must have excellent customer service skills, flexible hours, and be able to work weekends
• Familiarity with the specific type of merchandise sold in the shop desirable
• Previous experience with soft goods or hard goods is a plus, but not required
