Job summary

The Rockhill Group is seeking a Wing Scheduler to drive long-range scheduling for aerial refueling tankers and ACE operations, aligning with DoD strategic goals. This role requires DoD flying squadron experience and SECRET clearance.

You will analyze mission data, optimize resources, and deliver executive briefings while coordinating with multiple agencies and tenant partners. Training on scheduling tools will be provided to enable mission success.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active SECRET clearance (or previously held SECRET, expired w/o revocation).
• Case-by-case consideration for immediate SECRET clearance eligibility.
• Eligible for unescorted access to base restricted areas, CAC issuance, NACI, and RD access per DD Form 254.
• Minimum of two years in squadron aircrew scheduling.
• Minimum two years with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or similar aircrew scheduling system.
• Experience in a DoD flying squadron, group, or wing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, SharePoint, Teams); familiar with NIPR/SIPR networks.
• Excellent written and oral communication for executive briefings and multi-agency coordination.

Wing Scheduler

Operations

Focuses on macro-level operational alignment, strategic resource optimization, and Wing-level coordination. Key duties include:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive long-range scheduling systems, prioritizing aerial refueling tankers and Agile Combat Employment (ACE) operations.
• Align operational unit long-term mission planning with AFGSC strategic goals and tenant partners (AFRC, ANG).
• Analyze historical mission data to optimize resources and generate decision-making analytics for Operations Group leadership.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to Operations Group personnel on long-range scheduling software and capabilities.

Security Clearance:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an active SECRET clearance (or a previously held SECRET clearance that has expired without being revoked/compromised).
• Candidates without an active clearance may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis if eligible to immediately receive a SECRET clearance and submit required paperwork.
• Candidates must be eligible for unescorted access to base restricted areas, Common Access Card (CAC) issuance, National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), and RESTRICTED DATA (RD) access as specified in DD Form 254.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a squadron aircrew scheduler.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or a similar proprietary aircrew scheduling system.
• Demonstrated experience working within a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) military flying squadron, group, or wing environment.
• Proficient in standard office software suite (Microsoft Access, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and familiarity with NIPR/SIPR military IT networks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills suitable for executive briefings, leadership status reports, and multi‑agency coordination.
