Job summary

Mitchell Wine Group is seeking a driven wine sales professional to manage and expand a defined territory in the United States. You will call on existing accounts and build new business, aiming to hit monthly sales and distribution goals while cultivating relationships with clients.

The role requires strong wine knowledge, the ability to learn Mitchell’s portfolio quickly, and the discipline to plan and execute weekly and monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

• Wine wholesale experience with high-touch accounts.
• Experience in retail and restaurant sales environments.
• Strong organization and self-management skills.
• Detail oriented with eye for errors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently under Sales Manager direction.
• Ability to pivot to time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing account base in defined sales territory.
• Build new business in a defined sales territory.
• Hit target monthly sales and distribution goals while cultivating relationships with new and established clients.
• Showcase strong wine knowledge and the ability to quickly learn Mitchell’s portfolio.
• Strategically plan, prepare and execute sales goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
